I originally had an interest in media during high school. I really enjoyed directing and editing videos with my friends ; I loved documenting my day-to-day life and then making it into something cherish-able. In 2022, I got my Associates Degree in Media Arts at Massasoit Community College. We practiced a lot of live production so oftentimes I spent my days as the video switcher or the producer. During my final year, Deborah Shariff allowed me to edit commercials for her Boston Screenwriter’s guild. It was at this moment when I discovered my true passion for video editing. Deborah inspired me to keep practicing and to take risks with my art. In 2023, I started at Massachusetts College of Art and Design to study Film/ Video. I knew that I loved making films and I knew that I loved helping other people bring their visions to life, but I didn’t know who I was “supposed” to be as an artist. Throughout my time at MassArt, I learned that the answer to that question was ever changing. Sometimes I make movies about how much I love my mom, sometimes I make video essays exposing the corruption behind billion dollar corporations, and sometimes I make reality TV shows about my cats roommate drama. I don’t have a “niche” or a specific style, I just create what feels right to me in the moment. I graduate with my BFA on May 21st, 2026 and to say the least I am excited! Honestly, it’s more of a melancholy feeling because I’ve truly enjoyed my time at MassArt so much! I’m sad to leave it, but I’m also glad to explore new things. Both of college experiences were awesome. I genuinely loved attending school and I will appreciate the professors who helped me get here forever!

I love making silly and serious films with my friends! Community is my biggest inspiration! Whether it’s a small indie set or a big budget set, I am happy to be a part of it! Being surrounded by creative people is infectious and I can’t get enough of it. I love helping and I love being organized. I consider myself a pretty quick learner so most production roles I am comfortable assisting with. Although my favorite role is…producing! Do we need something? I’ll get it! Is there an issue? I’ll solve it. Do we need to contact someone? I’ll email them. Did you forget crafty? I always carry snacks. I try to bring a positive and motivational attitude to all environments because I think that professionalism and fun can exist in the same universe. I believe that if people are comfortable and enjoying themselves than the art positively reflects that.
